Service Above Self in Action

At the Rotary Club of Himalayan Golfers (RCHG), we believe that meaningful service is the cornerstone of positive change. Since our chartering in June 2022, we have initiated and supported a diverse range of projects aligned with Rotary International’s seven areas of focus:

Highlights of Our Key Projects:

🛏️ Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW) – Bedkit Distribution

In partnership with SCAW Canada, RCHG is leading a pilot distribution of 1,500 bedkits to underprivileged children across Nepal. This project not only provides children with essential sleeping items but also restores dignity and comfort to their daily lives.

📚 Educational Support Initiatives

We have supplied books, uniforms, school bags, and stationery to rural schools, helping improve learning environments and encouraging school attendance.

🚰 Clean Water and Sanitation Drives

RCHG has supported the installation of handwashing stations and clean drinking water facilities in public schools to promote hygiene and prevent disease.

🌱 Environmental Campaigns

From tree plantations to awareness campaigns on plastic reduction, we continue to take steps toward protecting and restoring our natural environment.

🧥 Winter Relief and Warm Clothing Distribution

Our club organizes seasonal donation drives to distribute warm clothing and essentials to families and children in need during harsh winter months.
